Join the BSCC YPG Mentoring Programme

If you are a young professional looking for a sparring partner for your professional growth, or if you are a professional wishing to share your skills and experience that you have harnessed during your career, the BSCC YPG Mentoring Programme should be the natural next step for you.

YPG Mentoring

An amazing platform for you to grow

Feel safe in the knowledge you are being advised and supported by the right person to foster new skills

Working with a mentor allows you to be alongside someone who looks at the bigger picture and can identify potential obstacles to business development early on

Develop your skills in ‘managing up’. Bring your mentor up to speed in areas that are often second nature to you

How it Works

The Programme will run for a 6 to 12 month period during which time mentees and their mentors work together to achieve predetermined objectives and goals.

Step 01

Candidates need to apply via the BSCC website, and if successful will be contacted by the BSCC Central Office to agree next steps

Step 02

We will select the shortlist of candidates and will match skills and objectives with expertise and expectations. We will match up to 20 pairs for one year

Step 03

Mentees and Mentors will be notified about their match

Step 04

Your Mentoring Programme will begin when you have been successfully matched

Step 05

The Programme requires regular one to one mentoring sessions with your partner (we recommend to meet or speak at least once per month)

Step 06

The Programme will end after 12 months with a closing event for all mentor and mentees
