London Heathrow Ends 100ml Liquid Limit On Cabin Bags

Heathrow has now completed the upgrade of its security scanners across all terminals, including Terminal 5. This enhancement is designed to streamline the security process and significantly reduce time spent preparing bags. [heathrow.com]

When travelling through Heathrow, you can now:

  • Keep all liquids inside your cabin bag.
  • Carry liquids in individual containers of up to 2 litres each.
  • Leave laptops, tablets, and other large electronics inside your bag.
  • Proceed through security without removing these items. [heathrow.com]

If connecting or departing from another airport

Security rules may differ, as not all airports have implemented next‑generation scanners. Before travelling from any other UK or international airport, please check that airport’s specific liquid and screening regulations. [heathrow.com]
