Cross-Border Giving in Flux: What U.S. Policy Shifts Mean for European Philanthropy
Chapel & York is launching a new Geneva event series this autumn, designed to convene the philanthropy community — small, curated gatherings where funders, advisors, and sector peers can engage in open conversation.
Our first session will be on Thursday, 13 November, 08:30–10:00 at the Ruby Claire Hotel in central Geneva. It’s a breakfast discussion on: Cross-Border Giving in Flux: What U.S. Policy Shifts Mean for European Philanthropy
The conversation will explore how global policy shifts — particularly in the U.S. — are shaping the European philanthropy landscape: from donor confidence, compliance and cross-border flows to how advisors position themselves in this evolving environment.
The format will be light and interactive: a short scene-setting from Heather Hill (C&Y’s Head of International Fundraising, based in the U.S.), followed by a moderated panel and peer exchange.
